Molar City, Here we Come

I do random spot checks of Saige's teeth and have noticed that her two front teeth, on her left side have come in so quickly. They are already bigger than her two bottom teeth and she's had those for six months already!!! While looking at her new front teeth I noticed that her first molar is coming in!!! It's on her bottom left side and it's already broken through the skin.

Before we know it, the tooth fairy will be here collecting these guys! So, funny story...we went to the doctor for Saige's one year visit and he said so, how are you doing with brushing her teeth? Now, I really haven't been strict about the whole two times a day, brush our teeth thing, it's more like three times a week (I'm so bad) but it's so simple to forget. So Jay is there and I knew the doctor was asking a loaded question so I had to be real careful how I answered this one!! I didn't want a lecture or a note in our file so I said, I have the fluoride free toothpaste and a baby tooth brush. His next question was, does she mind her teeth being brushed, how is she about it? I said, oh she's fine, she actually likes to hold the toothbrush herself. Whoo, I was in the clear, thank GOODNESS he didn't ask how often I brushed her teeth, then I would have had to be honest!!! Jay still teases me about this but ask him how many times he has brushed her teeth!!! That would be NEVER.
