Cranky Pants

Well I jinxed myself by saying how well Saige did. She turned into a crank pot after that doctor's visit. She has been pretty cranky every day since last Monday. I thought we saw the light at the end of the tunnel last night but just today she drove Sara nuts!!!

Working is definitely hard, it's sad to leave her but every day it does get a little easier. Soon it'll just be like second nature to me and she'll benefit by having different people spend time with her during the day.

Going to make the appointment to get her ear's pierced soon since the doctor said we could after three months!!! I'll definitely post pictures of her ears so you all can see.

Saige's Two Month Birthday

Happy Two Month Birthday Saige!!!

I haven't been able to update the post in over a week because we have been running around.  Jay's grandmother passed away last Thursday and the funeral was this past Monday.  On top of sitting shiva, I've been trying to get myself prepared to go back to work.  Tomorrow is the big day, first day back.  I'm excited but slightly sad because I don't want to leave my baby girl.  Auntie Pooh is babysitting for the entire month of August though so I know she is in good hands.  Wish me luck, I'll check back soon to update you about my big day.

We took another field trip to work today.  Above is a picture of Saige and my boss, Anne.  Everyone at work got to meet Saige last week but they were still admiring her today.  I must say, she was on her best behavior.  We then went to Daddy's job to visit him and his coworkers and she was still excellent.  I guess it was to make me feel better for her morning antics while I was trying to get us ready for the excursion.  I return back to work on August 3rd and am definitely looking forward to it but I know I'll miss her a lot at the same time.  One of Jay's friends said that going to work makes her a better mom and I could totally see how that is true.

I was finally able to speak to Maria (you know me, I'm very persistent) and Lucas was 5 lbs 2 ounces and 19 inches long.  Both mom and baby are doing very well and as soon as I have a nice picture, I'll be sure to post it so you guys can see how cute he is.  Saige cannot wait to meet Lucas, we are all very excited.  Gwen is due next but that isn't for two months and two weeks!!!  But we can't wait none the less.  Check back tomorrow, hope everyone had a great day.
