Like Mother, Like Daughter

Saige loves to read books. This is fairly new, before she just loved eating the books you were trying to read to her. Her favorite book is "Wish Upon a Star" - a Care Bears book. It's only four pages long, with one line on each page but she absolutely loves it. If I try to read a book with more than one line on a page, she closes the book on my hand to let me know, "not this one". If I put the Care Bears book down to grab another book, she leans forward, picks up the Care Bears book and hands it to me as if to say "read this one to me".

We went to the Dollar Tree the other day and they have a huge section of kids books. I was able to get her about 7 more books that have one line on each page! Care Bears is still her favorite but she does enjoy the other books as well.
